On my way home from Garland today, I spotted a pair of coyotes in a field about a mile from our house.
They were just sitting in the middle of a plowed field, sort of looking around. They were a couple of hundred yards from the road (Hardin Blvd). I circled back and parked my bike and watched them for a few minutes. When a big bunch of traffic came by, they trotted off to some nearby trees.
As usual, I didn't think to try to photograph them. Oh, well - at least I got to see them.

Somebody post a message recently on our neighborhood board about seeing a coyote run between a couple houses just down the street from us! Wonder if they are plotting a take-over??? (i'm sure it's due to all the construction that is taking over them)
Mom says she's seen one go through our yard to the creek before.
