Tree Trimming

The ice damaged some limbs on the tree behind the shed. We trimmed them off today.

Eventually, the City crew came and took the piles of branches away. Hooray.

Tree Parts

The downed tree limbs are now by the curb. Happily, the City has offered to do a special "ice limbs" curbside pick up, without having to bundle everything in 4 foot lengths.

There were a few firewood-size branches, so they were cut into stove logs. They are currently contributing to our back yard log sculpture.

It's a work in progress.

Christmas Tree

We got the tree up. Lights only, so far.

Except Mimi probably won't want to keep the Sock-Angel.

Ice Storm

We had a little ice storm last week.

It was hard on the trees.
