First Treasure Hunt

We got a Big Girl present for Ada -- so, what better time to introduce her to the Mimi and Pa Treasure Hunt?
At first she needed a bit of coaching from Mom.
Soon she was off on her own, only needing an occasional hint about what the drawing was supposed to show.
Some clues are hard to find.

 Some clues are easy.

Getting close...
Ta Da -- found it!

More Life In Yatton

Arthur poses for his first traditional Growth Vs Bagpuss photo.

MandJ's blog shows the comparison with Ada. (It looks like she and Arthur are starting off about even.)
Looks kind of like a halo, doesn't it?
Mark, Ada and Pa walked to the park on a rainy day.

Mark demonstrates perfect form at the end of the cable slide.
Ada gathered some pine cones and enjoyed sending them down the slide.
When all 6 of us go out, someone gets to ride in the rear jump seat.
Stretching out.

Living in Yatton

We like to go to the Cadbury Garden Center (if you hadn't noticed). Ada likes to ride the Clifford ride. She is practicing her 'camera smile'.
It's fun to go to Clevedon and walk along the sea front. "Wind in my hair...."
Mimi and Ada made chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles.
We walk to town and shop at the Co-op store a lot. It's nice, because they only have 2 or 3 choices for each item, instead of 50 like back home.
Here's how our mail gets delivered. All the postmen ride bikes like this one.
The weather has been great!

Already Growing

Not much to say here. Baby is growing and beginning to interact with us more.
We are getting into a reasonable routine. Sleep... Eat... Burp...  Potty.
Ada is being a great Big Sister. She is very gentle with Baby.
She likes to give him gentle hugs and kisses.
Ada decided to try on Mummy's nursing pillow.

Flash - Baby Discovers True Purpose of Human Thumbs!

In only 4 days!

Hiding Place

While we were waiting for our meal at the Ship and Castle pub, Pa and Ada played hide-and-seek.
When Pa says "I wonder where Ada went", Ada calls out "Over here!"
She is a Really Good hider!

Day After Baby Day

Here is the traditional 'size perspective' photo. That's Mama Keats, by the way.
Mimi and Baby - both with eyes open.
The Grandmother Handoff - Nanny Kate came over to meet her new grandson.
 Instant bonding.
 Big-time bonding.
