We were to head to the airport early (6 AM), but the airline called and said the plane's crew was sleeping late. So we left home at 8:30.
We got to the airport with plenty of spare time.

John and Pa used some of the extra time by riding up and down the escalator.
Soon, it was time for John and Mama to check in at the gate.
Off they went. Hopefully, the flight crew were fully awake by now.
We were sorry they had to leave; the time seems to have flown by. But we look forward to another Grandcamp, soon.
PS - Julie called from the parking lot bus at the other end. The flight went well. They had five granola bars with them, and shared one with the man that sat next to them on the plane. John ate the other four.

We're home. Tony just finished giving John his bath and they are heading for some books. I just finished my work, time sheet, and productivity sheet, so I'm done for the week!
Keats was very surprised and happy to see us. He knocked John down, but John recovered quickly (considering how tired he was/is).
We'll start getting back to "normal" life again tomorrow.
Planning Colorado/Indiana trip and September Tennessee trip, thinking about daycare for next fall, doing the taxes, laundry, balancing budgets and checkbooks, celebrating Tony's birthday, John's birthday, Mother's day, Father's day, etc...
I think I just pulled muscle in my brain.
LOL - nice metaphor! I'll bet Keats was overjoyed... Glad you made it safely and soundly home. We miss you!
