Grandcamp East - Day 2

Day 2 began with breakfast - one of my favorites. Thank you, Mimi!

After breakfast, I did a little reading, on my own. Good idea, Mimi!

Train time! I like to climb into small containers...but there's a lot of work to do.

Pa helped me a little bit...

...while Keats kept an eye on things.

Since it was a rainy day, we decided to have a Pajama Day - and play in the garage. We made some things to climb on, and shot some hoops again.

I found another use for the hoop - very handy.

Later, we watched ONE episode of Veggie Tales. Pa loves Veggie Tales.

I did a little puzzle box work...

... and practiced martial arts - mainly shikawa-kachu ("plastic golf club weapon").

After supper, we watch ONE more episode of Veggie Tales. Pa says Veggie Tales is really for adults, but it's ok for kids to watch, too. Thank you for the popcorn, Mimi!

Just before bedtime, I played in the garage some more. This is a balance beam layout I set up myself.

We got THIS close to having a pajama day at Val-Camp Far East...we should have gone for it!

I mostly had a pajama day too! I spent a lot of time in bed, then on the sofa in front of the TV eating Thin Mints and tortilla chips.
I walked partway to the theater, visited with Tony, said hi to everyone here, and then headed home for a shower and more pajama time!

Grandcamp looks great!

I miss John, but it's nice to sleep in!!!

The floor beams are getting too tame. He's now trying to figure out how he can string the beams across from the workbench to the handlebars on the motorcycle...
