Since I began blogging, I've made it my practice to use the blogger 'Schedule' function to keep posts in order by the date the topic occurred, rather than the date when I actually posted them.
For example, when I did some posts about our recent trip to Clemson I set the date to the time the events occurred, while we were there. This caused those posts to appear below posts about more recent events I had already done since the trip.
The problem is, some of my vast readership might miss out on those great new posts, since they appear some ways back in the postings sequence.
?
Is it better to post every new post (including past events) at the current time, so everyone is aware of the new posts, even though that makes events appear out of order?
Is this even a question worthy of asking?

I personally read blogs via Google Reader, and it doesn't care about the date -- it just shows adds anything NEW to my list...
Maybe I need to go back to google reader - do you use the app on your phone?
I think in order is fine, because then they're easier to find at a later date if you want to check something. Is it too cluttered to do the occasional 'go back and look' posting if you post something out of order?
Thanks for the feedback.
For Mimi's ease of use, I think what I may do is post things in 'now' order as I get to them, then go back later and edit the date to put them in 'when it happened' order.
If I can remember to...
