After riding in Georgia with the group, I headed over to Clemson. Mimi had lovingly ordered some goodies for my birthday and asked Julie to pick them up. Tony and the boys were on a Grandcamp trip to Indiana.
From the Village Bakery in Pendelton. Yum.
Julie took me to dinner at a great BBQ place in the country that has a bluegrass band on weekends. Yum. Nice!
Julie and I helped Miss Kerri with some furniture relocation as a surprise for Mr. Mark.
The surprise worked.
Julie noticed a big pretty moth on the glass door.
The cake de gras.Yum. Nice. Fancy.
It was really nice to visit with Julie for a couple of days, but it was also fun when the boys all got back home. Especially Mr. Cool.
They acquired 'a few' new toys while visiting with the Indiana Grammie bunch.
John got several new Lego Star Wars kits. He is an awesome expert at putting them together, almost totally by himself. He is a careful and orderly assembler.Thousands of tiny pieces. Amazing.
Since John's birthday happens during summer, his class celebrated with him during the last week of school. Mom and Dad brought donuts for the class, and John got to choose two pals to eat with him at the parents' table. That's how they do it in Clemson.
Donuts for everyone (in John's class)!
He received a fine commemorative birthday crown.
And, as soon as he got home from school, he went immediately to work on the Lego kit.
While Christopher and Tony did their thing. Just being boys.
I enjoyed the visit very much.
