Tonight's party was all about M & J's anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY from all of us!!!
We had bbq chicken, steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, baked beans, salad and one-bowl oatmeal chocolate chip cookies -- all in your honor!
Naomi and John took turns giving each other rides in Great Grandpa's walker.

BTW you all make quite a formidable looking rugby team - that young Christopher lad will make a mean scrum-half in a few years!

We had Chinese for dinner last night (we were both tired) and tonight we grilled, too.
Year 6 is either iron (UK) or sugar (US) as the theme - so we had steak (thought that if it was rare enough it would count for 'iron') and I've made a chocolate dessert from the cookbook Mark gave me yesterday, which should take care of the sugar. Can't say that it was difficult to be talked into the sugar part of things...
