There were actual presents, on the actual day:
Next day, there was an actual (small) party.
And fun with grandbabies.
And an elegant outfit that came via England.
According to reports, it was a "good birthday".Yay!

The dress looks like it fits ok - or is it too big? And does the belt not fit, is that why Mom's holding it, rather than wearing it with the dress?

It fits great. She didn't put the belt on because the dress has a tie string in front and she didn't think the belt would look right with it. But she loves the belt & will wear it with other things.
I wondered about that. The picture from the Loft web site had one picture with a model wearing no belt, and then one with a model wearing it with a belt, so they seem to think it can be done - but I wasn't sure if it would work. But also I got that belt from another place since I liked it better than the one that was on Loft's site...
I think the dress goes great with those shoes, too!
